Could you paint a goalie helmet with paint used on cars?
I have a design on my helmet, but I don't like it anymore and I want it to be painted all black. Could I go to a garage or something and would they paint it for me? If I can't do this, then what other options do I have?
You could. You could also jump off a building and try to glide like a squirrel. You would get very badly hurt, but you could do it. Any non-specified paint you put on a mask, that is, any paint that is not mask paint, will weaken the strucure of the mask, and could finallly result in softening. You don't want a soft mask. Take it to a goalie proshop, and they should be able to paint it for you. Or, sell your old mask, and use the money to buy an all-black mask, as all-black masks tend to be considerably cheaper than painted masks.
