Should I clean the black puck marks off my goalie leg pads?
I was thinking about using one of those Magic Eraser sponge things to clean off the numerous black marks from the puck on my leg pads (I bought them used.) Should I? Goalies are supposed to use their stick as much as possible so sometimes having white pads can be impressive because it suggests that your very good with your stick and the pads look nicer when they're nice and white. On the other hand having tons of black marks on your pads suggests that you're experienced . Which should I do?

plus i dont think its possible to clean them off, the marks are from friction where the rubber actually warms up so much and it melts onto the pads, its much like a tire skidding on pavement, part of the rubber melts onto the surface
using your pads is nothing to be ashamed of, and considering your pads are used, your probably under the age of 13, its ok i bought used pads til i was 12
