HOCKEY.....elbow pads for Christmas?
my brother-in-law wants elbow pads for Christmas - there are so many....any suggestions on which ones to get? thanks!
also, do guys care about what colour their elbow pads are? white? black? both? or more of one than the other?
hmmm....so maybe a gift certificate to a sports store would be best....
Take the time, do the research. Find out what he has right now, and what size. Your sister would probably be happy to rifle through his gear and find out. Or see if she knows what kind he wants.
Then go to a pro shop or store that he can also get to (for returns), and ask them if there's a similar or improved elbow pad to the ones he has, and get those. Get a gift receipt.
You could just get a certificate, but this way you took the extra effort to find out what he needs and wants, and I bet he'd appreciate that. Elbow pads aren't a super critical piece of gear. They need to fit, they need to be decent. It's not rocket science, like gloves.
