What does the alarmists' suport of Climategate's Michael "hide the decline" Mann tell you about their agenda?
Algore used the famous Hockey Stick graph as a dramatic center piece of his powerpoint movie. Turns out that its creator, Michael Mann, FAKED the Hockey Stick graph formulas such that ANY set of input data created a hockey stick shape - how convenient!
Then the Climategate emails revealed he had a "trick" and wanted to "hide the decline" of temperatures in the last decade.
The alarmists continue to support this charlatan and fraud. Why?

The key word here is "agenda". I heard somebody today point out something I hadn't thought of: in any area of scientific theory, there are always proponents and opponents. There are disagreements, debates, arguments, etc. Not all astronomers buy into the big bang theory. However, only in one area of scientific theory do the proponents label the opposition as "deniers", as if they are denying the holocaust or something - man-made global warming. Why? Because they have an agenda, and they have to create doubts about the credibility of anyone who opposes them in order to attain their agenda.
Brodie, we have made tremendous strides in lowering pollution since the 70s, and we did it without lowering our lifestyles to third world status.
