Which fabric material would be best?

I'm a goalie and I was looking to make sweatbands for my mask (I know there ones that are sold in the market). I was wondering which of these three materials would be best to absorb humidity/sweat at the maximum?

Terrycloth (like bath towels and sports sweatbands)
Microfiber
OR
Synthetic chamois (like the towels used by swimmers/divers and ShamWow! towels)

Or do you have any other suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

If it was me making the sweatbands I would stick with Terry Toweling. Toweling is very easy to wash and if dried in the clothes dryer remains soft and comfortable to wear.

Generally speaking Synthetic chamois can become stiff if they dry out therefore making them uncomfortable to wear. Synthetic chamois are great when lots of water or spills need soaking up but not very good for beads of sweat.
