Sports Injury Question: Is Pre wrap strong enough to stabilize my ankle or should I go with tape?
...or should I go with Andover Powerflex Sports Tape (sorry for the name brand) to increase my ankle's stability and comfort. Right now I alternate between taping with 2" micropore surgical tape and a lace-up/figure 8 strapped ASO Ankle Brace to keep my junk in place while cycling and working.
I had a bad sprain in February and it seems there is some ligament or tendon damage that continues to persist. 
Oh, and no, I haven't the money to get a scan of my ankle due to a lack of medical coverage.
Sports tape. trust me i thought the pre wrap was good enough until i broke my ankle (again)
